Callum Gale, Koda’s Chief Operating Officer had a promising meeting this week with Vice President and Commercial Manager, Craig Edwards from Slough Town Football Club.
They are in extensive and encouraging talks regarding the sponsorship of the men’s and women’s first teams. The result of this could mean Slough Town FC donning the Koda logo on their match day home kits when playing at Arbour Park Community Stadium. It would also be presented throughout the grounds, pitch side, and on scoreboards to an incredible 17,000 visitors per season.
Arrangements have been made for a second meeting later this week with Craig, for a tour of the grounds and continue discussions of the deal in the hopes of having something finalised in the very near future.
This is an exciting time to be associated with Slough Town Football Club. They have a talented squad jointly managed by the young, ambitious duo of Neil Baker and Jon Underwood. The two have been hugely successful in their six years in charge. Twice reaching the Second Round of the Emirates FA Cup, and last season, claiming the Berks & Bucks FA Senior Cup.
This union will not only earn the Koda team fantastic seats at the club, hopefully in time for the 2021/22 Vanarama National League, but also allows us to support the local team and continue contributing to the community.
